Where can I find the full video and tutorial on this project on your site?
Thanks for the great videos!
Can you show us more on how you did it thanks 🙏
What? 😂
Hello! It's a great project, thanks for that. I would like to do it, but can you help me with the code? Please
At the end the servo is plugged into a board(controller?). What board is that?
That’s Just Scratch
This is great but not very specific on what to use and how to use it
this is great! can you post the code? (I'm a teacher and submitted my info over a week ago... hoping to get some educational materials)
Did you win?
Alas, no
I don't see any speakers in the shop, is there something compatible available, either with Birdbrain or another manufacturer?
By "talk" we mean that the two robots can use Radio on the micro:bit to control one another. So when you show one robot the food, it transmits a radio signal to make the other robot move as well. More information here: learn.birdbraintechnologies.com/hummingbirdbit/makecode/program/16-1
Can someone make a list of everything that is needed to make this ?
Oi what's wrong with furries
How does this video only have 6,000 views
Hi sir.. i want to this type of model..how to make it sir..
We have a project page that details some of this here: learn.birdbraintechnologies.com/hummingbirdbit/projects/modeling-joints-with-robotics/
Bro fr went like 😟😐😟😐😟😐😐😐😐😐….😲
Material list please, I just had a light bulb above my head thought of a project idea!
You need a hobby servo and a way to control it. In the video, a Hummingbird Controller is being used. Other than that, a box, some masking tape, and a stiff piece of wire are all you need. Check out the tutorial here for more instructions: learn.birdbraintechnologies.com/hummingbirdbit/build/crank/1-1
Wow, can't believe we'd not seen this before. We love Hummingbird boards! Thanks for sharing!
How you made this
That’s so cool
Nice ideas 👍
Great video. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and skills.
1:21 that is NOT the correct way to bend the end of a pushrod.!
Mine forgets the program when I shut it off or shut off my tablet. How do I fix it so that it remembers it forever?

Mine forgets the program when I shut it off or shut off my tablet. How do I fix it so that it remembers it forever?
If you use the MakeCode programming environment, the code will be downloaded to the Hummingbird and it will run without a tablet/computer. You will need to recreate your program in MakeCode. Here's a link to our programming tutorials for MakeCode: learn.birdbraintechnologies.com/hummingbirdbit/makecode/program/1-1

Time to become the next william afton 😂
is it the Rotation Servo - FS5103R and does all of it come in the 14$ thing like all of the stuff you used?? and one last thing can i use the Hummingbird Bit Controller for the last part?
It is the position servo that is being used to open/close the mouth, FS5103B, and you can use a Hummingbird Bit controller to control it. Position servos are included in our Hummingbird Bit Base and Premium kits - but the base kit has a small position servo, the FS90 (which is still sufficient to open/close the mouth). Building materials like cardboard are not included in our kits.
If I get some servos I’m gonna make this a bit different in the cardboards shape an make 2 eye brows for a Freddy fazbear animatronic
You could make a robotic trash can with this
🤪 *Promo SM*
is it possible to see the code that is used for this?
Here is some example code for moving a servo back and forth: learn.birdbraintechnologies.com/hummingbirdbit/makecode/program/6-6 The angles you set the servo to might be different based on your robot - in the example it moves from 90 to 180 degrees and back.
@@Birdbraintechnologies42 Thank you so much
Hmmm interesting ,ate
could be faster
this is funny and cute! (question: are this finchs shipped in USA, or in Canada?)
Finch ships from Pittsburgh, USA if you order direct from BirdBrain Technologies. You can get them in Canada from a variety of resellers as well: support.birdbraintechnologies.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003752213-Do-you-ship-internationally-
Thanks!!
Would this be safe to mount into a puppet?
Could a finch sing 7 years by Lukas Graham
Hi Artie - the Finch can make music with its built-in speaker, but only simple tones like you might hear in a 1980s video or arcade game. The Finch's programming environments do let you play music from connected computers and tablets though. More information here: learn.birdbraintechnologies.com/finch/birdblox/8-1
love it! For it to move to the music, we have to program it right?
Yes, and there are many programming tutorials on our website at: learn.birdbraintechnologies.com/hummingbirdbit/program/
Hey! can you please teel about how to connect the humming bird bit with bluetooth
Check out our programming tutorials or self-paced video courses - both Snap! and BirdBlox programming environments allow you to control the Hummingbird with Bluetooth: learn.birdbraintechnologies.com/hummingbirdbit/snap/program/1-1 learn.birdbraintechnologies.com/professional-development/video-courses/hummingbirdbit/
Hey!! I am using humming bird with micro bit. However I am not able to connect it with the humming bird firmware burner to operate it with app inventor
Please reach out to our support team - support@birdbraintechnologies.com - they can help you out with this.
new fren
Nice, what's the code for this?
We have a tutorial on fractals and recursion that walks you through how to make the code here: learn.birdbraintechnologies.com/finch/python/program/lesson-15-finch-fractals
How do you make it remote controlled. Or maybe using a phone to control how the mouth moves?
If you are using the Hummingbird Bit robotics kit to control the servo, you can use our programming app, BirdBlox, to control the mouth and other servos connected to the Hummingbird. Here's our tutorial on BirdBlox: learn.birdbraintechnologies.com/hummingbirdbit/birdblox/1-1
😮
❤
Thank you
Does Arduino IDE works with this ?
Yes it does - you can see our Arduino instructions here: learn.birdbraintechnologies.com/hummingbirdduo/arduino/ Please note that these instructions pertain to the Hummingbird Duo, available here: store.birdbraintechnologies.com/collections/hummingbird-duo The newer version of the kit, the Hummingbird Bit is built around the micro:bit, and does not work with Arduino.
Could you attach the google document that is mentioned in the video in the video description?
We no longer have access to that document. The Hummingbird kit comes with a broad range of learning materials, all free to access. Check out our Start Teaching page to begin: www.birdbraintechnologies.com/hummingbird-start-teaching/ If you're looking specifically for materials to present Hummingbird to other educators, please email us at info@birdbraintechnologies.com and tell us about your plans!
